Missouri Evening Primrose Seed Pods
/I’ve enjoyed my Missouri Evening Primrose plant all during this growing season….so many big beautiful yellow flowers.
They are past blooming now, but I discovered the seed pods recently – still nestled in the leaves and, at first, looking like some leaves that drifted in.
On closer examination they are winged….and hold seeds inside!
I will leave the rest of the pods in the garden…checking them occasionally to see how they eventually open on their own.
