Hungry Cecropia Moth Caterpillar

One advantage of volunteering in the Roston Native Butterfly House is the opportunity to see caterpillars as various stages of development. Recently I was lucky that one of them was eating while there weren’t visitors in the house….so I was able to capture a short video. It was a medium sized cecropia moth caterpillar, and it appeared to only want to take little bites of the wild cherry leaf going in one direction!
