Springfield Conservation Nature Center

I took a short break before the Homeschool Fair started last week to look at the plants around the Springfield Conservation Nature Center building. My favorite was probably the American beautyberry! The location was the first place I saw beautyberry when I moved to Springfield. Of course, there were other fall blooming plants and some seed pods as well.

Inside the building I noticed the Mushroom photography exhibit.

I didn’t have enough time look more thoroughly at anything….maybe I’ll make another visit in a few weeks.
